Graduated from Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua, Republic of Panama, Faculty of Law and Political Science, where she earned a degree in Law and Political Science (1996), with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree (1997) from American University, Washington College of Law, Washington DC, United States.

Ms. Ucar is a founding partner of FACA Abogados, specializing in sales and acquisitions of companies, corporate restructuring, mergers, spin-offs, civil and commercial contracts, trusts and private interest foundations, as well as banking and securities law, among other areas.

Additionally, she serves as an independent director on the boards of legal entities regulated by the Superintendence of Banks and the Superintendence of the Securities Market of the Republic of Panama.
